Soon, unique medicines from components derived from Naftalan oil will enter the Azerbaijani and Russian markets.
Azizali Hasanov, general director of the Naftalan Pharm Group Scientific and Production Chemical and Pharmaceutical Company, told the AZERTAC correspondent that at present the company, together with Russian research institutes, is the Institute of Restorative Medicine and Balneology, the Research Institute of Rheumatology, and the Research Institute of Neurology - Develops unique, unparalleled in the world, medicinal preparations from the components of naphthalan. According to him, today the company already produces and sells refined, non-tarred naphthalan oil, alcohol and oils. Patented medicines - suppositories, therapeutic naphthalan patches, ointments and gels, as well as a medical cosmetic line called the “Star Line” of 36 items. All patented drugs are intended for the treatment of various diseases - infertility, prostatitis, psoriasis, hemorrhoids, dermatologic etiologies and musculoskeletal diseases. The drug production project, said Azizali Hasanov, is carried out with the largest Russian enterprises - Alt-Pharma, Moscow Pharmaceutical Factory Veropharm, which are directly involved in the production of suppositories, ointments and gels, medical plasters and medical cosmetics. Currently, the Russian Research Institute of Restorative Medicine and Balneology together with the Veropharm factory, which has a brand on the Russian pharmaceutical market, is conducting the latest tests of naphthalan patches. ”It should be noted that the Naftalan Farm Group Scientific and Production Chemical-Pharmaceutical Company is the largest enterprise in refining Naftalan oil. The plant processes up to 5 tons of raw materials per day. The company's latest achievement was the production of light fractions from naphthalan oil called naphthalan alcohol, which is widely used in the field of perfumery and cosmetics industry.
